This Lavender grows in the pathway leading to the shop.  This was pictures from 2011.

It is growing in the old gravel driveway that leads to the shop and loves it's home.

Lavender is originally  native to the southern Mediterranean and was probably brought to Britain by the Romans.

Secret Garden

I think the tiny people that live in this garden no doubt love the fragrance these Hostas leave in the Secret Garden.

  This is in the Secret Garden.  The Hosta  is called Fragrant Bouquet.  If you can find one latch onto it because it has the sweetest smell ever.  The blooms are white and rather large.  I have seen several hummingbird moths around them at dusk.  They are quite a site because at first you think it is actually a hummingbird.

These are there family pictures.  The yellow cat is named Tom and black and white cat is named Jerry.  I weighed them the other day and they are sixteen lbs.  Guess they seem to be happy.

O.K. these two seem to love the table in the secret garden.  They were kittens that a Mother white cat brought me as a gift.  She was wild and I would see her every day, but she would never think of letting me get close to her.  Then one evening she stood at my front door with five little kittens.  She rubbed around my legs like she had know me forever.
Now don't get me wrong I love cats, but you must admit that really was smart on her part, because she knew I would help her.
She had three white kittens, one black and white, and one yellow and white.  Well now I could not keep all so I found homes for her and the three white ones.  We still have the two and they are probably around six years old.  They all grew up in the garden and that was a treat for the eyes to watch them playing in the flowers and Herbs.
